A Postdoctoral Associate position is available in the Schmid lab, Duke University Biology Department. A PhD in computational and/or experimental biology is required in fields including but not limited to biochemistry, genomics, biostatistics, molecular biology, microbiology, evolutionary biology. Familiarity with microbial phylogenetics, molecular biology, and/or metabolism are a plus. Clear evidence of past research productivity is required, and strong scientific and interpersonal communication skills are expected. Our lab values the ability to work together with colleagues and teach and mentor students from diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
