Prof. Michael Reiter has several research internships available in summer 2021 for students who have experience in conducting computer security research. One project involves the development of methods to verify the messaging behavior of a client as being consistent with the software it is believed to be running. Another focuses on the design of protocols for secure multiparty computation and applications thereof. Preferred research experience includes software analysis (e.g., program slicing and symbolic execution), compilers, and/or cryptographic protocol design.
