Seminar and Workshop Series Course

The Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University is seeking a Non-Regular Rank Adjunct Professor to teach Masters-level class. The faculty member will teach a graduate-level seminar and workshop series course for students in the Master of Engineering Management program. This position is expected to be part time teaching 2 sections per academic year on-campus at Duke University in Durham, N.C.

This appointment runs from July 1, 2022 to June 31, 2023.

Candidate should have relevant industry experience in engineering leadership roles and have deep connections to Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, or regional companies. They will also have a PhD in engineering or a related field (or commensurate industry leadership experience plus a master’s degree). Prior teaching experience in a university setting is preferred but not required.

The successful candidate for this role will be expected to:

 • Teach one seminar and workshop series section each semester

• Collaborate with faculty across multiple departments in the School of Engineering
