This advertisement is for one or more non-tenure track faculty positions (professor of practice, lecturer or
clinical) in the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Institute (ENI) in the Robinson College of Business at
Georgia State University, effective as early as Fall 2023. Professor of practice or lecturer candidates
should hold at least a master’s degree with a focus on entrepreneurship, innovation or a related field from
an accredited university and be qualified to teach courses in entrepreneurship and innovation. Significant
professional experience is also highly valued. Candidates for clinical faculty positions must have
demonstrated high-level classroom teaching performance, significant professional experience, the
capability for publishing research related to the scholarship of teaching and learning and/or research
related to professional practice, and an earned Ph.D. in a relevant discipline from an accredited university
or international equivalent. Rank is open but we expect to hire at the level of senior Clinical Assistant or
Clinical Associate Professor (non-tenure track).
Ideal candidates will have expertise in supporting the University’s strategic goal of becoming a national
model demonstrating that students from all backgrounds can imagine and develop solutions to problems
and innovative new products and services that create value for themselves, their communities and
society. They will help oversee and expand curricular offerings, interdisciplinary partnerships, and
integration of curricular and non-curricular experiences at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Ideal
candidates will also add teaching capabilities to the Institute’s interdisciplinary undergraduate and
graduate degree and certificate offerings, contribute to the development of new courses, programmatic
offerings and curricular innovation, and have the opportunity to lead existing and new projects, programs
and initiatives that align with unit, college and university strategic priorities.

entrepreneurs, direct experience with new ventures or other applicable professional experience, and/or a
keen interest in entrepreneurship and innovation in socially and economically disadvantaged populations.
Established in 2016, ENI is a significant strategic effort by both the Robinson College of Business (RCB)
and the University to build upon and expand the university’s offerings in entrepreneurship and innovation
courses and experiences among all of its 50,000+ students. Serving as the enabler in the university-wide
effort to cultivate a more inclusive entrepreneurial culture, ENI provides educational opportunities and
practical experiences in entrepreneurship and innovation open to all students at GSU. ENI offers rapidly
growing degree programs including a BBA in entrepreneurship, interdisciplinary undergraduate majors in
entrepreneurship in conjunction with the Creative Media Industries Institute, Andrew Young School of
Policy Studies, and the Institute for Biomedical Sciences, an undergraduate minor available to all students
at GSU, a graduate certificate in disruptive innovation and entrepreneurship, a concentration in
entrepreneurship at the MBA level, and a graduate degree in conjunction with the Institute for Biomedical
Sciences. Over the past five years, entrepreneurship-themed majors and the minor have collectively
experienced outstanding growth and ENI is positioned as an important part of the future of the University
and business community. ENI also offers significant co-curricular programming including an accelerator
program, student business incubator, workshops, speaker series, competitions and community-building
events. Opportunities for conducting research are excellent with similarly interested faculty colleagues
across the college and university in areas such as public policy, law, economics, management, finance,
marketing, risk management, and healthcare, along with researchers across the college and university
