Applications are invited for a full-time, non-tenure track, Professor of Practice position in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Lehigh University (http://www.cse.lehigh.edu), to start no later than January 2, 2022. An earlier start date may be possible.

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field. Successful applicants will have the skills and experience needed to teach core courses in computer science covering basic and advanced topics at the undergraduate and graduate levels in discrete structures, algorithms, parallel algorithms, and programming techniques. The successful candidate should have a history of publishing their research in international conferences or journals focusing on parallel and distributed computing.

The CSE faculty includes ACM and IEEE fellows and five NSF CAREER award winners. The department offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate degree programs in Computer Science. Located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Lehigh is 80 miles west of New York City and 50 miles north of Philadelphia, providing an accessible and convenient location that offers an appealing mix of urban and rural lifestyles.
