Title, Qualifications and Position Summary

Lehigh University’s Department of Economics in the College of Business seeks to fill one visiting faculty position beginning August 2024. This is a one-year visiting position that ends in May 2025. Candidates must be able to teach courses in basic statistics and intermediate microeconomics. The ability to teach an upper-level (post intermediate microeconomics) undergraduate course in public economics would be considered a plus, though not a requirement for the position. The selected candidate is expected to teach four to eight courses over the academic year, depending on the candidate’s background and availability. Salary will depend upon the candidate’s academic research record, especially as evidenced by the ability to engage in joint research with colleagues, and teaching responsibilities.
