Position Overview

The Department of Psychology at The Ohio State University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor or tenured Associate Professor or Professor faculty position in diversity science. We welcome applications from scholars who address topics relevant to diversity and/or health equity in their research and teaching/training, including but not limited to prejudice, implicit bias, neural processes underlying biased perceptual processing, sampling bias, measurement bias, measurement development, physical and mental health disparities, and treatment bias in medical and mental health. As such, the scholar could be hired into any one of our department training/research areas including social, developmental, quantitative, clinical, cognitive, or behavioral neuroscience and could affiliate with a cross-cutting initiative in the department such as cognitive neuroscience or decision psychology. The scholar would extend our department’s work in diversity by providing research and training opportunities to our undergraduate and graduate students. We seek a scholar with good prospects of external support. We seek applications from faculty at all ranks and encourage applications from ABDs, postdocs, and those with established scholarly records.
