The University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School (UMass Chan) is seeking a part-time psychiatrist to provide outpatient evaluation and treatment services at UMASS Chan Medical School Student Counseling Service (SCS) within the UMASS Department of Psychiatry.

SCS provides evidence-based assessment, psychotherapy, and medication management of mental health issues to students of UMass Chan Medical School, Tan Chingfen Graduate School of Nursing, and Morningside Graduate School of Biomedical Science. SCS is a team of Board-certified psychiatrists and licensed clinical and health psychologists with specialty training who work together in a team model.

Applicants for this position must be board eligible/certified in general psychiatry in Massachusetts. Availability for some evening hours is strongly preferred. Academic appointment as an Assistant or Associate Professor at UMASS Chan Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training and achievements in addition to teaching activities.
