Dear Colleagues,

The High Energy Physics Theory Group at the Department of Physics, University of Tokyo, invites applications for a postdoctoral position in the areas of particle physics phenomenology and its connections to astrophysics and cosmology. In particular, candidates who are interested in neutron stars as a probe of physics beyond the Standard Model are strongly encouraged to apply. The position will be funded by JSPS KAKENHI No. 20H01897.

The appointment period will be from April 2021 or later to March 2023. (It is extendable depending on funding availability. A shorter period is also possible.) The salary is about 340,000 JPY/month. (After the tax, social security, and health insurance are subtracted, the net salary is about 280,000 JPY/month.) Research and travel expenses of about 300,000 JPY/year will be supported.
