Petroleum Engineering, University of Wyoming
The department has a vibrant, ABET-accredited undergraduate program with over 300 students, and also offers masters and doctoral degrees, with over 50 graduate students currently enrolled. The department currently has 10 tenure-track and tenured faculty. The University's Engineering Initiative represents a transformational opportunity for the college to invest in its facilities, programs and aspirations. As part of the Engineering Initiative and in conjunction with the UW School of Energy Resources (SER), the department plans to recruit additional faculty over the next several years. Faculty in the department work closely with the SER, which has received over $150 million in State funding over the last nine years, to build world-class facilities for research and instruction.
