Position Description:    

The Department of Physics at the University of Michigan is soliciting applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow to work in the areas of Statistical Mechanics, Soft Condensed Matter, and Complex Systems. Essential qualifications include a PhD in Physics or a related discipline at the time of appointment, a record of publication that involves techniques from statistical mechanics, broadly defined, experience with scientific computing, and strong oral and written communication skills. Programming skills in C/C++ or Python are an asset.
