Position Overview: The Clinical Mental Health Counseling department seeks a full-time faculty member for the Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) program. The MS in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program is a strength-based, relational model that is trauma-informed, with a focus on social justice and diversity. This is a 10-month tenure track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor. The faculty member will work with the faculty and director to pursue Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) accreditation.

A doctorate in Counseling Psychology or Counselor Education is preferred, with a background in child and family counseling. The applicant must demonstrate a strong professional affiliation with the counseling profession, including counselor education. A proven record of graduate teaching, research, experience with blended and online instruction, licensed or license eligible as a clinical practitioner, and actively engaged in professional organizations (e.g., American Counseling Association) are highly desirable.
