Professor James Fearon seeks a postdoctoral fellow for assistance and collaboration on a variety of data-intensive research projects in the areas of International Relations and Comparative Politics. The fellow would devote approximately 50% time to his or her own research and 50% to data collection, management, and analysis tasks related to Fearon’s research projects. Some of these, however, will be exploratory, with possibilities for collaborative output. The term would be one year.

Strong candidates will have their Ph.D. completed prior to the start of the appointment; advanced R skills; experience with social science data projects and management; and experience with and knowledge of panel data methods and datasets common in IR and CP.
