Duke University's Fuqua School of Business invites applications for a post-doctoral fellowship expected to begin Fall 2018 for applicants whose research interests include team science, interdisciplinary collaboration, and group dynamics. Preference will be given to applicants with expertise in field experiments, survey methods, or quantitative data analysis. The postdoc will contribute to a new research project that seeks to better understand the assembly, processes, and outcomes of medical science teams. The Fuqua School of Business provides an outstanding environment for research, and topics related to teams and collaboration are studied across Duke University, such as in medicine, nursing, and sociology. The post-doctoral fellow will be expected to contribute to the intellectual environment of the Fuqua School of Business. He or she would work closely with Professor Jonathon Cummings and collaborators in the Clinical and Translational Science Institute, the School of Medicine, the School of Nursing, and other departments on campus. Conditional on the grant being awarded, the salary is $52,000/year plus benefits (renewable up to 3 years). Successful candidates must have completed requirements for the Ph.D degree by August 2018. The post-doctoral fellowship is exclusively for recent Ph.D. graduates. Eligible candidates need not have previously held a faculty or postdoctoral position.
