Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral associate to conduct laboratory research related to brain tumors. Major laboratory efforts aim to understand better the immunologic basis of malignant brain tumors and immunotoxin mediated anti-tumor response in animal models of brain tumors with the overarching goal of translating findings to improve patient outcomes. The position is focused on performing pre-clinical studies to elucidate the role of tumor-associated macrophages to predict responses to brain tumor-targeted therapies. Our group is comprised of a multidisciplinary team of physicians, surgeons, and scientists allowing for active interaction and collaboration with numerous other research groups who are dedicated to developing new therapies and improving outcomes for patients with brain tumors.

Requirements: Ideal candidates will have a Ph.D. with a strong background in preclinical animal work, immunology, molecular biology, excellent written and oral communication skills, be self-motivated, and a great team player with less than five years of postdoctoral experience. English proficiency is a must. Should be authorized to work in the US. Prior research experience with brain tumors is preferred.
