The School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS), Oregon State University (OSU) in Corvallis, Oregon, invites applications for 9 month (1.0 FTE) and 12 month (1.0 FTE) instructors for the Computer Science programs on campus and online. These appointments are fixed-term, non-tenure track, with the possibility of renewal at the discretion of the School Head.

This position requires a Master's degree or higher in Computer Science or a closely related field. Successful candidates will be expected to commit to high-quality teaching and excellent communication.

The Computer Science Instructor needs to be able to teach undergraduate Computer Science courses in the following areas: Introductory Programming, Cloud Computing, Web Development, Networking, Operating Systems, Databases, Data Structures, theory-based courses (e.g. Algorithms), and Security. 

OSU is located in Corvallis, at the heart of Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Surrounded by forests and mountains, Corvallis combines the amenities of a college town with ample opportunity for outdoor recreation and fresh local food. Portland, the Cascade mountain range, and the Oregon Coast are all within easy reach.
