Position Description:    

The High Energy Theory and Gravitational Theory Groups at the University of California, Santa Barbara (http://www.physics.ucsb.edu/research/hept and http://web.physics.ucsb.edu/~relativity/) expect to appoint one or more Postdoctoral Scholars. We seek outstanding physicists with strong research records in these fields that synergize with interests in our groups. These positions will span a range of interests including particle phenomenology and physics beyond the Standard Model, quantum gravity, string theory, quantum field theory, and connections to quantum information theory.

Postdoctoral Scholars at UCSB benefit from an active research environment in the Physics Department, as well as the presence of the Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics that runs programs in all areas of theoretical physics.

A degree at the PhD level, or equivalent, is required. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience in accordance with University of California policy.
