The Materials Characterization Facility (MCF - is a core, shared-access research facility for materials analysis at Georgia Tech. The Mechanical Properties Characterization Facility (MPCF - provides educational and research facilities related to the measurement and modeling of the mechanical properties of engineering materials, primarily related to deformation, fatigue and fracture. The Polymer and Molecular Characterization Facility ( focuses on characterization of polymers and other organic molecules. All of these facilities may be leveraged for educational purposes.

Compensation and benefits will be competitive and based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience. This position includes the option of a nine-month or twelve-month appointment. Appointments are on a year-to-year basis with no limit on the number of renewal terms. Non-tenure-track faculty members are not eligible for tenure.
