Fellows: Center for the Physics of Biological Function

As part of a continuing effort to strengthen research and teaching at the interface of physics and biology, Princeton University has established a newly funded NSF Physics Frontier Center for the Physics of Biological Function (CPBF), a joint effort with The Graduate Center of the City University of New York (CUNY) and is searching for Center Fellows, both theorists and experimentalists, to be based in Princeton. Fellows will join our highly interactive group, with interests ranging from the dynamics of single molecules to neural computation, and from biochemical and genetic networks to collective behavior in populations. Fellows must have recently completed their PhDs in a related field, will be appointed as Associate Research Scholars at Princeton University, and will have opportunities to collaborate closely with colleagues at CUNY. Appointments are for one year, with the expectation of reappointment pending satisfactory performance and continued funding, up to a total of three years.

To learn more about the CPBF, including parallel opportunities at The Graduate Center, see http://biophysics.princeton.edu.

To be assured of full consideration, all application materials should be received by Oct. 15, 2017. Applicants must apply online at https://www.princeton.edu/acad-positions/position/3361 and submit a cover letter, CV, publication list and contact information for three references. This position is subject to the University's background check policy.
