Senior (3+2 years) Research Fellow Positions in Particle Theory and Cosmology

The Particle Theory and Cosmology (PTC) group ( at the Center for Theoretical Physics of the Universe (CTPU) in Korea invites applications for senior postdoctoral positions in Theoretical High Energy Physics and Cosmology, broadly defined, which can start in the fall of 2019. The initial appointments will be for 3 years, and can be extended for an additional 2 years subject to the performance and funding.

CTPU is a rapidly growing center with a strong support from the government as one of the IBS centers ( The PTC group at CTPU currently consists of 5 faculty members (Kiwoon Choi, Kenji Kadota, Sanghyeon Chang, Kyu Jung Bae and Chang Sub Shin) and 17 postdoctoral research fellows. English is an official language at the center.

The interests of our group cover broad areas of high energy physics and cosmology, including the physics beyond the standard model, collider phenomenology, dark matter, the early Universe phenomenology and the large scale structure of the Universe.

We have strong ties to the cosmology group at KASI ( We also have close relations with the experimental groups hosted by IBS, the Center for Axion and Precision Physics Research (CAPP, and the Center for Underground Physics (CUP,
