Position Overview:

The faculty position may be tenure, research or clinical track; performs one or more of the following: teaching, research, and/or service responsibilities which include, but are not limited to, the following: teaches undergraduate and/or graduate courses in engineering and/or architecture; advises students; conducts research; builds strong collaborations with faculty across the College of Engineering; contributes to scholarly publications; serves on departmental, college, and university committees; participates in professional organizations.

This position may be partially funded by Ohio State’s Discovery Themes, a significant faculty hiring investment in key thematic areas in which the university can build on its culture of academic collaboration to make a global impact. Thus, a strong potential to collaborate within the departments and across the university is desirable.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Required: Doctoral degree in engineering, planning or related field, or corresponding terminal degree in architecture, landscape architecture, or related field.

Desired: Professional and/or teaching experience; broad professional abilities; record of scholarship, research, and/or professional practice commensurate with level of appointment.
