The Pratt School of Engineering is seeking out exceptional scholars/engineers/teachers for an Associate Research Faculty position in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Applications are desired from candidates who will build research strength in engineered instruments and systems for areas of water, sanitation, hygiene and infectious disease. Candidates should have a background in one or more of the following areas: instrumentation for health diagnostics, sensing for health applications, physiological systems engineering, and sanitation technology for developing regions. Strong candidates will have a minimum of 15 years of research and development experience in devices, instruments and/or engineered systems, as well as field work in developing regions. Successful candidates will also have an outstanding track record of both written and oral communication. Evidence of mentoring capabilities are also sought. Successful candidates are expected to have an established research record and evidence of obtaining competitive external research funding.
