Postdoctoral Opportunity in Housing Research for the College of Engineering at the Ohio State University

Position Overview:

A two-year postdoctoral research position in affordable housing research is available with Professor Rachel Garshick Kleit, City and Regional Planning, Knowlton School of Architecture, Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs, College of Engineering, Ohio State University (OSU).  Candidates should have research interests related to housing policy, affordable or assisted housing, urban planning, or related topics.

The postdoctoral research associate will split their time between conducting their own independent research and contributing to a collaborative research program on housing mobility, public housing authorities as private market actors, and other work on the social impacts of housing.  Research products include journal articles, reports, research briefs, and other publications.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Qualified applicants will have completed their doctoral studies in City and Regional Planning, Public Policy, Sociology, Geography or a related field. Preferred are applicants who are passionate about housing research and are comfortable with mixed-methods research.
