Biology Department

One-year, Full-time Visiting Professor/Lecturer

Clark University’s Department of Biology invites applications for a one-year, full-time teaching appointment from August 16, 2019 through May, 2020. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to initiatives in our introductory and interdisciplinary curriculum, including teaching multiple sections (of approx. 16 students) in our Introductory Biology Lab in the fall and spring semesters and an additional course in the spring semester (an upper level elective). Candidates from all areas of biology are encouraged to apply. Experience with or demonstrated ability to effectively teach students from diverse backgrounds will be considered among the criteria for appointment.

A Ph.D. is desired, but we will consider those nearing completion of the degree. Previous teaching experience is preferred.
