A post-doctoral position is available immediately in the laboratory of Dr. Liton to study the role of the autophagic lysosomal pathway in the pathogenesis of ocular hypertension and neurodegeneration in glaucoma using in vitro and in vivo models. Candidates with a recent Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. , a strong research background in molecular cell biology and animal research experience, excellent skills in data analysis, ability to read literature, write manuscripts and give oral presentations are encouraged to apply. Salary is based on current NIH guidelines and commensurate with professional experience and productivity.
