Position Description:

The particle physics phenomenology groups of Pisa, Trieste, and Rome, are expecting to open several postdoctoral positions with starting date in autumn 2020 (earlier appointments are also possible), and of duration of 2 years. Extensions to a third year are subject to funds availability.

The positions will be awarded in the context of a joint research grant between INFN and SISSA, with main focus on particle physics phenomenology and in particular flavour physics. The research interests of our groups cover a wide variety of topics in theoretical particle physics, such as model building beyond the Standard Model, flavour physics, collider physics, quantum field theory, dark matter, and cosmology.

Each position will be based either in Pisa, Trieste, or Rome, but there will be opportunity for close interaction and collaboration between the three groups. Applicants will be considered eligible for all the positions, but preferences for one or more institutions can be expressed in the “Research interests” section of the application form, or in the cover letter.
