Position Description:

A junior faculty, Instructor, position is open at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in the laboratory of Kate Fitzgerald to study the role of nucleic acid sensing pathways and the Inflammasome in autoinflammatory and autoimmune diseases.

The Instructor will work closely with Dr. Fitzgerald on defining new directions for the Fitzgerald lab and advise research fellows and students on experimental design and data analysis. The instructor will work closely with the PI on research laboratory management and regulatory compliance.  The optimal candidate will have experience in innate immunity, signal transduction and gene regulation. Applicants should have PhD and/or MD degree and at least 3 years of relevant postdoctoral experience.
