The Fitzgerald Lab at Duke University is seeking a research associate to join their team that is focused on the development and application of protein mass spectrometry methods to study protein folding and function. The successful candidate should have a general background and experience in quantitative bottom-up proteomics methods. Specific research experience that includes the use of energetics- and mass spectrometry-based methods (e.g., the Stability of Proteins from Rates of Oxidation, Pulse Proteolysis, Limited Proteolysis, and Thermal Proteome Profiling techniques) to identify biomarker and the protein targets of drugs is highly desirable.
