Instructor or Assistant Professor Faculty Position as Associate Director of Education in Department of Family Medicine and Community Health The University of Massachusetts Medical School is recruiting outstanding candidates for a non-tenure-track Instructor or Assistant Professor faculty position to join an exciting team in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health. The successful candidate is expected to work with program directors, faculty, and other educators within the department to evaluate ongoing and innovative educational efforts.

Position responsibilities: The successful candidate will improve the overall quality of medical education across the continuum by working within the department to maintain, develop and evaluate innovative methods for medical student education, graduate medical education, and faculty development. This individual will apply educational and evaluation expertise to initiatives in the department including externally funded initiatives; developing faculty skills in educational assessment methods and collaborating with faculty throughout the department to maximize evaluation and dissemination of the innovative faculty work. The successful candidate will assist the team in conducting educational scholarship and conduct and disseminate original research.

Required Teaching/Research/Clinical Specialty: Successful candidates should have an EdD, PhD or equivalent degree, experience with teaching, program evaluation, educational technology, and faculty development.
