Position Description:    

The University of Texas at Arlington Intensity Frontier (UTA-IF) Group has an opening for a post-doctoral research fellow to work on the Fermilab Short-Baseline and Long-Baseline Neutrino program. Our group plays a leading role on the Short-Baseline Near Detector (SBND), ICARUS, MicroBooNE, and the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE).

The successful candidate is expected to contribute to ongoing efforts on both SBND and DUNE (specifically the liquid argon DUNE near detector, ArgonCube) and will have the opportunity to collaborate on various detector R&D projects which the UTA-IF group is involved in. UTA post-doctoral research fellows are expected to spend a significant amount of time stationed at Fermilab with periodic trips to UTA. Experience with liquid argon time projection chambers (LArTPC) is a plus, but not required.
