The University of Notre Dame Department of Physics welcomes applications for a postdoctoral position in Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics to begin in fall 2021.
The successful candidate will mainly work with Prof. Yi-Ting Hsu on various aspects of emergent phenomena in quantum manybody systems, including topological phases, superconductivity, quantum dynamics, and machine-learning application to condensed matter problems. The individual will also be encouraged to interact and collaborate with local theoretical and experimental condensed matter groups led by Prof. Janko, Prof. Assaf, Prof. Eskildsen, Prof. Furdyna etc., as well as neighboring institutions in Chicago and the greater Michigan-Illinois-Indiana region.
