Duke University, Department of Biomedical Engineering seeks to hire an Associate in Research in the McIntyre Lab. The responsibilities of this position include planning and executing 2-3 collaborative projects between the McIntyre Lab and other Duke faculty, or faculty at other academic institutions, as well as the management of regulatory paperwork for human research studies. The ideal candidate will perform data analysis utilizing medical imaging data, computer models, and statistical tools, prepare manuscripts and contribute to the development of grant proposals. The candidate will conduct research on a variety of clinical problems based upon the interests of the collaborating PIs. Currently the McIntyre Lab conducts collaborative research in the areas of Parksinson’s disease, epilepsy and depression.
