Non-­tenure-­track Faculty Position – Department of Chemistry, National Taiwan University

The Department of Chemistry at National Taiwan University is searching for a non-tenure-track faculty member (assistant professor or more senior). We support diversity and hope that the candidate creates a welcoming atmosphere that attracts students. We welcome enthusiastic candidates committed to innovative teaching methods in the context of chemistry, emphasizing student-centered learning methods and integrating chemistry-related content for students of different backgrounds. The main responsibilities include: 1. Teach fundamental core courses in Chemistry, and campus wide or college wide chemistry courses. 2. Teach at least one course in English every semester. 3. Implement experimental teaching improvement plans and develop new laboratory courses

Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree and have at least one year of postdoctoral research experience or chemistry related teaching experience before the application deadline. Proficiency in both Chinese and English is required. Qualifications related to secondary-school teacher training certificate and applications for educational grants are highly encouraged.
