Position: Research associate The Alberts lab in the Biology Department at Duke University is looking for a lab technician to assist with the radioimmunoassay of baboon fecal hormones. This is a full time position, starting in June 2021, with funding until August 2022. Responsibilities and Requirements: • Assist with the laboratory procedures for the extraction, purification and analysis of hormones from baboon feces. • Assist with data entry in Microsoft Office. • Assist with organization of the samples in the freezers. Qualifications: • Successful applicant must enjoy working in a laboratory setting and be able to work independently. • Excellent organizational skills strongly desired. • High level of accuracy and attention to details essential. • Prior laboratory experience specifically with radioimmunoassay desired. • Familiarity with Excel preferred.
