The International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA) is a leading research and training institution (PhD School) located in Trieste, Italy. It offers first rate facilities
(also for High Performance Computing) and has close connections with the International Center for Theoretical Physics (ICTP, HECAP), the National Institute for Nuclear Physics (INFN),
and the Department of Theoretical Physics of the University of Trieste (DFT). More information on research at SISSA can be found here: TPP, APP, APC, SP, MPG. A kindergarten is available on site.
*In the Italian system, a tenure track position corresponds to a “ricercatore TD b”, i.e. an assistant professor to be confirmed as an associate professor within three years after appointment. |
