The FinTech master’s Program in the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University (Durham, NC) invites applications for a postdoctoral position.

The Pratt School of Engineering is seeking a professor in the Master of Engineering FinTech degree program. Successful candidates will be expected to: 
  •  help establish a project for digital assets research as part of the Master of Engineering in Financial Technology working with the Director of the FinTech graduate program.

  • This role will lead development and implementation of research into various aspects of cryptocurrency and digital assets including asset pricing methodologies, risk and volatility measures, liquidity and liquidity centers. Research output is expected to be primarily white papers and reports for a broad audience (i.e., not peer-reviewed journal articles in most cases). 

  • The Post Doc will also teach 1-2 classes per year for the FinTech program. One such class could be to lead a Masters-level seminar in which students analyze  and generate broadly accessible research reports on digital assets.

Required Qualifications at this level:

Education/Training:

A PhD and demonstrated history of work in finance, economics or a similar field with an application in cryptocurrency is strongly desired.
