The Department of Political Science at Vanderbilt University invites applications from outstanding political scientists with a specialization in comparative political behavior for a tenure-track appointment as Assistant Professor. We are especially interested in receiving applications from scholars whose work addresses issues related to democratic development, political economy, and/or identity politics. Candidates able to assist in graduate training in survey methods, quantitative methods, formal theory, or other methods should indicate those competencies. The appointment will begin Fall 2022. Salary and benefits are highly competitive. The Committee will begin reviewing files as early as September 1, 2021.
