Assistant Professor of Management and Organizations School of Hotel Administration SC Johnson College of Business Cornell University The SC Johnson College of Business at Cornell University invites applications from qualified individuals for a full-time tenure-track faculty position in our Management and Organizations Area, specializing in Human Resources Management, Labor Relations, and Diversity and Inclusion, with an intended start date of July 1, 2022. The rank is at the Assistant Professor level and salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. The position will be based in Ithaca, NY. Responsibilities of the position include: research in the area(s) of Human Resources Management (HR), Diversity and Inclusion, Labor & Employment Relations (LR) or related fields, teaching required and elective courses focusing on basic HR and advanced HR at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, supervision of doctoral candidates, service to the Area, School, College, and University, and a clear passion for and interest in conducting research and teaching to advance the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will possess a Ph.D. in Human Resources, Labor & Employment Relations or a related field. Candidates will demonstrate significant accomplishment in research, teaching, and service and will complement and extend the strengths of the School of Hotel Administration within the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business. A research focus in the area of diversity, inclusion, and belonging is desirable. The Cornell SC

Schools: The School of Hotel Administration (Hotel School), the Samuel Curtis
Johnson Graduate School
of Management (Johnson), and the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied
Economics and Management (Dyson). The School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University is the top-ranked hospitality management program worldwide, with undergraduate, masters, and Ph.D. programs. The School of Hotel Administration (SHA) has approximately 950 undergraduates and 150 graduate students. Founded in 1922, SHA is an AACSB accredited business school, with a resident faculty of 65 and over 13,000 alumni worldwide.
