Anxiety Disorders Specialist Outpatient Services Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Stanford University School of
Medicine is seeking a full-time or part-time psychiatry faculty member to provide clinical care
and teaching with a focus on anxiety disorders. Clinical care and teaching will be provided
primarily in outpatient settings, with the possibility of providing inpatient care depending on
interest and need. Outpatient work consists of providing clinical supervision and education to
general psychiatry residents, fellows and a small number of medical students. A limited and
very flexible amount of direct patient care would be expected. Any inpatient work would consist
of serving as the attending for the general adult inpatient service. This position is ideal for a
candidate who enjoys working with trainees and thrives in a team-based environment. Many
opportunities exist for teaching, scholarly work, research collaborations, and quality
improvement initiatives. Applicants must have a medical degree or an equivalent degree, must have completed training in
General Psychiatry, must be board-certified or board-eligible in General Psychiatry, must have experience in
