The Enrico Fermi Institute of the University of Chicago welcomes applications for an open position as a Postdoctoral Scholar in the field of experimental neutrino physics.

The successful applicant is expected to play a leading role in preparations for the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE), including involvement in:

• construction of anode plane assemblies and charge readout planes for the first two DUNE far detector modules • the ProtoDUNE program at CERN, including detector installation, data taking, and data analysis. • analysis studies for the full DUNE experiment.

Participation in other ongoing Chicago neutrino group activities, such as the Short Baseline Program at Fermilab, is also possible.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in data analysis, simulation, and instrumentation in particle/nuclear physics. Occasional travel to CERN may be required for ProtoDUNE activities.

A Ph.D. in physics at the time the appointment starts is required.
