Postdoctoral Associate
The laboratory of Prof. Mikhail Nikiforov at the Departments of Pathology and Biomedical Engineering at Duke University, Durham, NC has a postdoctoral associate position open in January 2022.
Job Description:
Under general supervision conduct independent research in the area of cell and cancer biology.
Responsibilities include:
1. Development of new and implementation and modification of existing experimental procedures
2. Data preparation for oral presentations, grant applications and publication in professional journals
4. Implementation of bioinformatics approaches
5. Training of lower level technical personnel, undergraduate and graduate students
A PhD degree in a relevant field, extensive hands-on experience in basic biochemistry and molecular biology techniques, work with mice including various routes of drug delivery and biostatistics tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
