Boston University’s Department of Romance Studies invites applications for full-time non-tenure track Lecturer positions in Spanish with starting dates of January or September 2022, depending on availability. The initial appointment period will be 2-years. Responsibilities include teaching all levels of Spanish. Requirements include: an M.A. (at minimum) in a relevant field; native or near native fluency in Spanish and English; demonstrated excellence in college-level Spanish language teaching with a communicative, proficiency-oriented approach; ability to contribute to curricular development including thematic language courses; ability to coordinate multi-section courses; and experience using technology in the language classroom.
