Postdoctoral position in Holography, Gravity and Strings
The String Theory and Gravity group of the Department of Particle Physics of the University
of Santiago and IGFAE invites applications for a two-year postdoctoral position
starting not later than September 2022.
The lines of research that our group is interested are the following:
- Holographic open systems. Flavor models in background fields. Driven systems.
- Quantum simulations of SYK and related models in relation to quantum gravity and condensed matter.
- Higher derivative gravity and causality. Cosmological and holographic applications.
- Integrability in gauge and string theories.
Candidates should submit a CV, a list of publications and a statement of
research interests. They should also arrange for, at least, two letters of
recommendation.
The deadline for the applications is November 30, 2021
