Candidates must have a PhD or equivalent degree, a strong record of published research, and interest or experience in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

We are seeking innovative scientists whose research investigates fundamental mechanisms of developmental change. Candidates are also expected to contribute to our rigorous and innovative curriculum at the graduate and undergraduate levels.

The successful candidate will seek to leverage the technological resources and collaborative environment of Cornell University to enhance their research program. The department has a broad base in psychology and neuroscience and is internationally recognized for its distinctive ecological perspective. We embrace interdisciplinary and translational approaches, with strong connections to Cornell’s Bronfenbrenner Center for Translational Research. The department houses a fMRI scanner dedicated to research. We maintain significant research collaborations with the medical campus in New York City. The successful candidate also will have the opportunity to join Cornell’s Integrative Center for Developmental Science, a new campus-wide initiative to facilitate innovative developmental research.
