Postdoctoral Associate position(s) at Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), for developing novel CAR-NK cell therapy for cancer and/or mRNA-based vaccine development, in the laboratory of Prof. Jianzhu Chen. We are interested in innovative, interactive, and broadly trained individuals with strong background in immunology, molecular and cell biology and computational biology.

Responsibilities include developing specific research project, designing and implementing research protocols; troubleshooting and customizing experimental tools to respond to research questions; designing safety procedures; adapting new procedures, methods or instrumentation relative to research procedures; collecting, preparing and analyzing research data; generating clear and timely records of experimental work; maintaining computer database of research data; tabulating and displaying data for presentation in research conferences and for manuscript preparation; using graphics and statistical software to analyze and present data; communicating ideas and results with lab members; supervising other personnel in the laboratory to coordinate research efforts as needed; participating in training of graduate students and technicians as needed; searching pertinent scientific literature as needed; assisting with ordering and procurement of supplies and equipment and with general maintenance of laboratory.

Qualifications: Ph.D. in a relevant field with a background in immunology, molecular and cellular biology, and/or computational biology.
