A position is available for a postdoctoral associate with specialization in primate field ecology. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the behavior and tracking the movements of mouse lemurs in Southeastern Madagascar. The candidate should have experience in animal tracking, vocal recordings, DNA barcoding, and the collection of biological samples for subsequent genomic analysis. Field work will occur in a remote area of Madagascar and the success of the project requires that the candidate have detailed knowledge of the customs and culture of the local Malagasy people. This position will be under the joint supervision of Dr. Anne Yoder (Biology) and Dr. Marina Blanco (Duke Lemur Center) with an anticipated start date of February 15, 2022.
