HMC Engineering Visiting and Adjunct Professors 2022-23
Harvey Mudd College invites applications for Visiting Assistant Professors and Adjunct Professors for our general engineering program. The Visiting Assistant Professor is a full-time position for the 2022-23 academic year, with a possibility to renew for the 2023-24 year by mutual agreement. The Adjunct Professor positions are for teaching individual classes in the Fall 2022 and/or Spring 2023 semesters.
The Department of Engineering seeks candidates with experience and knowledge in applications of engineering who can excel in teaching a broadly-based undergraduate curriculum focused on design, systems engineering, and engineering science. Applicants must have a demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence and professional growth. A Ph.D. or equivalent degree in engineering or a related field is expected, although exceptional candidates late in their Ph.D. program will be considered. Industrial or other practical experience in the field is valued.
Teaching opportunities may include introductory courses in design, systems, and mathematics; the sophomore lab; core engineering science courses; upper-division electives; and advising Clinic capstone design projects.

For full consideration, applications should be received by April 18, 2022, but applications will be accepted until the positions are filled.
