The astro-particle physics division at the Max-Planck-Institut fuer Kernphysik (MPIK) in Heidelberg invites applications for a post-doctoral position for experimental research on coherent neutrino scattering and searches for BSM physics with the CONUS experiment.

MPIK conducts research on a broad range of basic research in experimental and theoretical particle and astro-particle physics. The division has a strong or leading involvement in various neutrino experiments and in direct dark matter search. The division has also strong theoretical support and various other projects at MPIK and at nearby Heidelberg University provide a very stimulating research environment. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in experimental particle or nuclear physics. Applications should include a CV, a statement of research interests and a publication list. Two or three letters of reference should also be provided. Applications should arrive by May 31, 2022. Later applications will be considered until the position is filled. The position can be filled as soon as possible.
