| Theatre and Dance The Pomona College Department of Theatre and Dance invites applications for a 2-year post-MFA Fellowship in Design. The successful candidate will have an MFA in Design with an emphasis in Sound, Lighting and Projections. Some professional design experience is preferred but not required. Pomona College supports equal access to higher education and values a richly diverse environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and a demonstrated commitment to improving higher education for underrepresented students. Responsibilities will include teaching two academic courses per year: Sound Design and Technology, Lighting Design and Technology, and/or Projection and Media Design. Design opportunities will involve executing two or three designs in sound, lighting and/or projections each year. Ongoing mentoring of students is an important component of this design work. Pomona College, the founding member of the Claremont Colleges, is a highly selective liberal arts college attracting a diverse, national student body. Students from the five Claremont Colleges actively participate in the Theatre Department.
