Position Description:

Associate-in-Research Position Microphysiological System Characterization and Testing.

Specific responsibilities include: isolation and culture of cells, differentiation of induced pluripotent cells to various cell types, preparation and monitoring of microphysiological systems, analysis of gene expression using RT-PCR and protein levels using Western blotting, data analysis, ordering of supplies, managing expenses on various research codes, and oversight of lab task schedules. Knowledge of Solidworks or other CAD software, the ability to program in Matlab, Python or C++ would be very beneficial.

The Associate-in-Research will present results at lab meetings.

Requirements Education: BS or MS in biomedical engineering or related field
